Building design and alteration
Whether or not to invest in a new building or altering an existing
property is a major decision for an owner.
We are able to help in this process by carrying out a full survey
and feasibility study, which can help you decide upon the best course
of action.
In the case of an existing building to be altered we survey the
whole building and provide a report which advises you not only on
the feasibility of the alteration works but also any repairs, improvements
or defects which may exist in other parts of the building.
We prepare a costed maintenance plan, which shows how much you
may have to spend on the building over a three, five, ten or even
thirty year period.
For both new build work and alterations we also provide a decision
making matrix which takes into account all the factors you want
the investment to achieve and weighs up the pros and cons of design
alternatives and options.
